Setup guide

Two minutes, no tools.

Your stand arrives already programmed to your Google review link. This is entirely about where you put it.

1. Unbox and test the QR code

Scan the printed QR code with your own phone once before putting the stand out, and confirm it opens your Google review page. If it opens the wrong page or doesn't scan, email fixaoperations@gmail.com — we'll send a corrected card.

2. Place it where a customer already pauses

Tap rate comes down almost entirely to placement. In order of how well they tend to work:

  1. Next to the card reader at checkout — customers already have their phone out or are reaching for a wallet.
  2. On the table at the end of a meal or service — right as the experience wraps up, while it's still top of mind.
  3. At a pickup counter — the moment between "order ready" and walking out.

Avoid the front door or a shelf customers pass on the way in — nobody taps a review stand before they've experienced anything.

3. Test it yourself once

Unlock your phone and hold the back of it flat against the plaque for a second. On iPhone (11 or later) and most Android phones, a notification appears — tap it to confirm it opens your Google review box. No notification? Try the printed QR code instead; some phones have NFC reading turned off in Settings.

4. Optionally, say something

A short verbal nudge roughly triples tap rate: "If you have a second, there's a tap-to-review stand right there — takes about three seconds." No script needed beyond that; the stand does the rest.

Not registering a tap after a few tries? Email fixaoperations@gmail.com with your order number — most issues are a phone's NFC setting, and we'll walk through it or send a replacement chip if it's faulty.
